From September 25th to 26th, a delegation from the Overseas Education College (OEC), led by CPC Branch Secretary Ms. Wang Limin and Dean Mr. Wu Peng, visited Shanghai University, Fudan University, and Tongji University to gather insights for the OEC’s upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan.

At Shanghai University, the delegation was welcomed by Ms. Wang Lina, Party Secretary of the Office of International Affairs, and Ms. Li Yingjie, Dean of the College of International Education. Discussions covered long-term development goals, admission of international students, student services and management, as well as capacity building for administrative staff and teachers. The delegation also toured the international student dormitories of Shanghai University.

At Fudan University, the delegation met with Ms. Su Kui, Director of the International Students Office, Ms. Qu Shuaiwei, Vice Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Ms. Ding Jie, Vice Director of the International Students Office, as well as other experts. They presented Fudan University’s approaches to international branding, English-medium programs and curricula, quality assurance mechanisms, and alumni engagement.

At Tongji University, the delegation was received by Mr. Chen Yili, Director of the International Students Office, who introduced the university’s overall strategy for internationalization. Exchanges focused on education in national conditions, signature student activities, collaboration with industries, international alumni, and foundation education.

The delegation also visited the memorial of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC).（OEC）
