In continuance with its resolve to provide quality International education and promote the Faculty and disciplines in Jiangsu University, the Overseas Education College convened its second Online Education Webinar on April 6th, 2021. Over 100 potential students joined the live webinar together with OEC Admissions Team.

The host officials (JSU-OEC Admissions Team & Engineering Graduate Professors) covered varied units and schools which presented the listeners with an extensive series of information, practical experiences, insights, and thoughts.

This version of the webinar focused on various professors representing Overseas Education College, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Electrical and Information Engineering, School of Environment & Safety Engineering, Research Centre of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology as well as Automotive Engineering Research Institute where each presenter expounded on the distinctive benefits of their majors, programs, expert faculty, research directions, scholarly support for international students, and achievements of International students and faculty in their schools.

After a brief introduction of the defining speakers and the itinerary of the webinar, the live broadcast officially began where Professor. Pan Jianfeng, Dean of OEC presented on behalf of Overseas Education College - Jiangsu University with regards to the following; Pilot program for quality assurance for international Disciplines and academic programs Two national key disciplines (TSP programs) Long history of JSU’s Internationalization English taught programs Prof. Pan revealed that, with over 100-year history, JSU revives teaching and research with emphasis on engineering and allied disciplines. It is one of the first groups of universities that offered doctoral programs for student in China. He added, Education here is tailored to students’ needs and welcome to make part of your story.

Cai Jie an Associate Professor of School of Mechanical Engineering also gave a wide range of fruitful information with regards to this school. She gave a clear overview based on the areas below: Introduction of School of Mechanical Engnn (SME) Study at SME Supervisors Scholarship and its criteria discipline in China (2019)

The Secretary of Foreign Affairs in the person of Chen Guangjing of School of Electrical & Information Engineering also presented on key subjects about the school, disciplines, scientific research, subject and major, international cooperation and exchange and made each and every one understood the prospects of taking such a program in Jiangsu University. At this juncture, Yong Yangchun a Professor of School of Environment and Safety Engineering also elaborated on key areas in terms of, distinguished professors, teaching staff, interdisciplinary role, research fields, outstanding achievements as well as graduate student life of this school. In conclusion, Li Yong an Associate Professor of Automotive Engineering Research Institute further gave a wide range of information which covered these facets of the school:

The participants further deepened their understanding of the colleges and the majors under the guidance of the college representatives with regards to the questions & answers section.
