Recently, President Prof. Yan Xiaohong, Jiangsu University received a letter from Alexander Dzheus, Director of Russian Children’s Center Orlyonok. Russian Childrens Centre Orlyonok is the most large-scale and most famous federal state budgetary educational establishment founded by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and a UNESCO Associated School. In the letter, Mr. Alexander highly praised IANA AIUGOVA for her outstanding performance when she taught the Chinese culture and language for kids during the summer vacation in 2021. He also expressed the recognition for the cultivation of international talents in Jiangsu University.

IANA AIUGOVA, a Russian student majoring in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, has an excellent performance of both academic fields and social activities during her study in Jiangsu University. She has the passion of learning Chinese and Chinese culture, taking an active part in many kinds of activities to experience the charm of China and improve her Chinese level.

Since 2018, IANA has achieved different kinds of awards and scholarships, including CSC Outstanding Scholarship, Jiangsu Provincial Scholarship, Jiangsu University Presidential Scholarship, and OEC Outstanding Scholarship, for her efforts and hard work. Besides, she takes an active part as the MC of many important events, and does voluntary work as the Chair of the Jiangsu University HeART Psychological Club for International Students.

As of September 2021, there are nearly 2100 international degree students studying in Jiangsu University from over 100 countries. International students become professional talents and messengers of friendship, and devote their efforts to the development of BRI as well as the intercultural communication. They also help to motivate the internationalization atmosphere on campus, and improve the capacities of international communication and competencies of students and staff of Jiangsu University.
