The Summer Camp organized by Jiangsu University overseas students' PG Club was successfully held from 21st to 30th July 2021 in Jingjiang building room 1308-1 and through the online platform Zoom and Tencent. The event was held in accordance with COVID-19 precaution protocols (on July 21st) and complete online (after July 22nd). The Summer Camp consisted of a series of training courses in upgrading students’ software skills.

Students who participated were excited about the events, feedback from one enthusiastic student: “This was the basic introduction to Matlab I needed. Before when I used Matlab I would always get a fault, but I didn’t know why or what I did wrong. Now I know!”.

Special thanks go to the speakers who invested their time to prepare and present the software to the students including Mr. Augustine Looh – Matlab, Dr. Ebenezer Larnyo – STATA, Mr. John-Nelson Ekumah – Mendeley, Mr. Elvis Adam Alhassan – Latex, Mr. Israel Enema Ohiem – Ansys, and Yacouba Conde – Coraldraw who unfortunately had to postpone due to software problems.

Thanks to Ms. Nana, president of PG club for taking the time to host the events and to Mr. Selorm for his help. To all of the online (87) and offline (13) students who participated in the event, thank you for your support.
