The 20th Annual Sports Meeting Games of Jiangsu University was held on November 13 & 14, 2021 at Dongshan Playground with a glamorous opening ceremony. The two-day event was fully packed with exciting and sparkling moments.

The opening ceremony constituted various schools/colleges in JSU where the OEC team comprised of OECians of different nationalities, ornamented in their formal traditional costumes so as to exhibit their cultures as well as chanted their slogan in Chinese which is "一带一路 同梦共行；友谊第一 比赛第二". The spirited parade, exhilarating performances and insightful speeches from various eminent leaders of Jiangsu University was just the beginning of what would attest a remarkable meet. The Deans of OEC also graced the event to give encouragement to the OECian team.

During the opening ceremony, OEC team received first position for the 19th sportsmeet overall.

Due to the current situation we find ourselves, this year’s meet further tested our athletes’ capability to cooperate under stress and exhaustion in order to maintain our championship. However, based on absolute determination and a persistent effort to overcome the trials, our Dream Team dazed the entire populace by winning the JSU 20th Sportsmeet. The meet kick-started with exciting events and continued with remarkable results from the OECian athletes encouraged by cheering from fellow OECian students and staff.

It truly was a meeting of great talented sportsmen and sportswomen. From the 100m races to the 5km race, from field events to fun games the OECians came, saw and conquered the JSU 2021 annual sports meet. Throughout the competition, the OECians' seamless prowess wowed the audience. This year’s meet was a true reflection and depiction of “DREAM TO SUCCEED TOGETHER WE CAN”! Due to the outstanding sportsmanship, organization and great maintenance of punctuality, morality, obedience & order as we participate with unity and joy.
