As part of the 19th Sports Meeting Games, the "President Cup" Football Tournament of Jiangsu University came to a successful conclusion on October 30, 2021. The tournament commenced on October 14, 2021 at Dongshan Playground where the opening ceremony took place.

"President's Cup" football match is depicted as the school's top-quality contest and football events, which is geared towards cultural propagation, developing the spirit of harmony and ingenuity, as well as ensuring the physical and mental health of the entire student fraternity.

The tournament was made up of 18 solid teams and more than 330 players participated, which was played within a month. Due to the unique nature of the tourney, each and every College/Team attached great importance to the selection of superb and outstanding players so as to be on top.

As our name connotes, "United Stars" of OEC (Legends Forever), thus we are constantly united and poised for victory. Due to the indefatigable and invaluable exertions of the Coaches and Captains, as well as the inevitable team spirit displayed and professional style of play by the players, we were the winning team at each stage of the tournament to the final stage. Sulley-苏欢, the Main Captain of the United Stars of OEC scored the first goal in a spectacular fashion during the first group stage match against School of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering of which was regarded as the the Goal Opener of the entire tournament.

Historically, the United Stars of OEC, the defending champions, have always set the pace of winning almost all matches in previous years of the tournament. This year's tournament was a very tough and a competitive one, but with a high and an unabated power of exertion we were able to retain the trophy for the fifth consecutive time in style without conceding any goal throughout the tournament.The final game of the entire tournament kicked off with heated match between the United Stars of OEC and School of Medicine with the Stars winning by two goals. The United Stars proved to be a formidable team with a sense of professional and tactical play which led to our victory. The game was very challenging because each team was so eager to be victorious. The intensity was peak as both teams played with high-spirited mood in their best form for the game. While both sides had concrete opportunities throughout the first half, the School of Medicine team appeared to be more perilous per the chances they had against United Stars of OEC which paved way for them to mount pressure on the Stars of OEC.

The purpose of the tournament was really achieved at the end since every team was with much excitement and euphoria to play against each other with unity and joy, and we look forward to subsequently playing such games.
