On Tuesday 19th October, 2021 the “2021 Discover Jiangsu • Approach the Renowned Blessed City of Zhenjiang” event was held in the Zhenjiang museum. This event was sponsored by the information office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government and Zhenjiang Foreign Affairs Office. The foreign friends in Jiangsu visited Zhenjiang and experienced the history, culture, perception of modern agriculture and appreciated the elegant demeanor of “strong, rich, beautiful and high” new Jiangsu.

Gorgeously dressed in Chinese traditional garments, these 6 students made an elegant entry to kick-start the event by their recital, keeping the guests wanting more and more of what our beloved city could offer. This warm welcome to all the dignitaries from all over Jiangsu province symbolized the true adaptation of Jiangsu University international students into the world of Chinese art and culture thus broadening the horizon of China’s connection to its foreign friends, leading us back to the purpose of the belt and road initiative. This event comprised several other activities which were climaxed with a detailed tour of Zhenjiang and its renowned beauties.
