On Wednesday 29th September, 2021, 38 OECians headed to Jinshan Scenic Area of Zhenjiang to support and perform at the opening ceremony of the festival.

As part of the preparation towards this classic Culture & Art and International Tourism Festival, OECians in various teams observed series of practice and drills with high sense of commitment and hard work according to the rehearsal schedule throughout the previous weeks. With the motivation of the team leaders as well as the commitment of the team members, the team (OECians) effectively rehearsed throughout so as to massively prepare for the festival.

Due to the immense preparation by the thirty eight (38) OECians comprised of seven (7) groups, they sparked the festival with variety of performances which consisted of: “Coupe Decale, Afro Beat, Indian Dance, Latin Dance, Pacific Dance, Stepping Good etc.”

Furthermore, series of closing performance of the evening, in various forms were equally wonderful and superb. ‘’Since culture and art falls in love with Zhenjiang’’ was full of ink. For the sake of appreciating Chinese culture and Internationalization, experiencing insightful cultural heritage, and adoring the beauty of life, hence OECians displayed a great performance in this regard.

In fact, this event really depicted a solid cultural custom with amusing cultural characteristics, strong interactive experience and rich social elements. OECians together with Chinese personnel converged in one language, made friends with culture and art, appreciate the beauty of China-Zhenjiang with joy, and admired the broad, deep and unique charisma of Chinese traditional culture in Chinese poetry and prose. OECians were also interviewed by Jiangsu TV at the event as they expressed their love on Zhenjiang and Zhenjiang Culture.

We deem it prudent with high esteem to disclose our invaluable and weighty appreciation to OEC-JSU, Organizers, Host Unit, and the Supporting Media Crew for making this event a reality for us and it’s our topmost priority to subsequently experience such classic event. The feeling was good and we really felt at home as we deeply dense in love with Zhenjiang by means classic performances and appreciate the echo charm of Zhenjiang.
