The air was thick with excitement and the rhythmic pounding of feet this morning as Jiangsu University (JSU) successfully concluded its annual Campus Marathon. Hundreds of students and faculty laced up their running shoes to participate in this competition across the sprawling campus.

Over 50 international students took part in the various marathon categories. 6 and 15 selected international students took part in 16km and 8km respectively while majority of international students joined the 3km fun run/walk.

The marathon, which kicked off at 8:30 AM in front of the university's library, featured three main race categories: a 3-kilometer fun run/walk, a 8-kilometer race and a challenging 16-kilometer race for more seasoned runners. The routes winded through the picturesque university grounds, showcasing the beautiful spring blossoms and iconic landmarks of the campus, providing a scenic backdrop for the participants.

The JSU Campus Marathon has become a significant annual event on the university's calendar, promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering a strong sense of community among students and faculty. International Students Sports Association (ISSA of JSU) actively supported the event by promoting, registering and guiding OECians.
