The event was introduced by Emmanuel Agyenim-Boateng, President of the PG Club, followed by an introduction of the guest speaker, Dr. Sheikh Farhan Ashraf, by Activity Manager Timothy Masuni Nagriwum. Dr. Ashraf provided practical guidance on how students can successfully complete their thesis. Participants praised the seminar's usefulness; Sajjad Hussain from Pakistan and Ziko from Morocco commended its informative content, while Mensah Godbless from Ghana suggested using larger venues for future events.
The seminarconcluded with participants receiving the presentation materials, making it awell-received and impactful session.
Cricket Tournament 2024

70 enthusiastic participants were divided into five teams: JU Eagles, Bengal Tigers, Zalmi, JSU Superkings, and JU Titans. In a league-format tournament, each team played four matches. The JU Eagles won the championship by defeating the Bengal Tigers by 52 runs, while the JSU Superkings secured third place.
The tournament promoted unity and healthy competition, with participants recognized for their sportsmanship and dedication.
Green Chemistry Innovations

The third edition of the FutureTech Series on Green Chemistry Innovations at Jiangsu University attracted many new researchers and students interested in sustainability.
Prof. Bashir Abegbemiga Yusuf delivered a keynote address on preparing research and thesis proposals, providing new researchers with essential tools to enhance their academic journeys and research skills. He highlighted innovations in green chemistry, focusing on sustainable processes and eco-friendly materials, leaving a lasting impact on participants.
The event endedwith an engaging Q&A session, providing students with personalized advice. The workshop inspired attendees and better prepared them for their academicpursuits.
Pink October- Breast Cancer Awareness

The event, exclusively for females, had significant participation. It began with an informative talk on breast cancer, explaining its impact on women’s health. In addition to breast cancer, discussions covered other important women’s health issues like cervical cancer and endometriosis.
One of the highlights of the event was the interactive “Myth & Facts” round, where participants engaged in guessing whether various statements were myths or facts. The event concluded with an open question-and-answer session, allowing attendees to inquire about breast cancer, cervical cancer, and general health concerns. This initiative provided an empowering experience, fostering awareness and promoting improved health education for women.
