Jewels online Story writing competition themed "Woman I Aspire To Be" was successfully concluded. A total of about 30 submissions were received from both male and female students. Students wrote their heartfelt stories by drawing inspiration from famous female characters or describing what they want their future selves to be like.

2.China Overview Course Enters Zhenjiang Anti-Drug Education Base

The OEC of Jiangsu University organized a special Overview of China Course at the Zhenjiang Anti-Drug Education Base to commemorate the 185th anniversary of the tobacco sales ban in Humen and the 14th "National Anti-Drug Publicity Month" in China. This initiative aimed to enhance international students' understanding of China's modern history, disseminate anti-drug knowledge, and raise awareness about drug prevention.

OECians participated in this educational program to enhance their understanding of China's history and anti-drug efforts. Guided by a tour leader, students explored four primary exhibition areas and two special sections encompassing drug-related knowledge, history, notable cases, and legal frameworks. Interactive exhibits and multimedia documentaries focus on the Opium War and China's transformations since the establishment of the People's Republic of China, particularly after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party.

These narratives evoked strong emotions and offered clearer perspectives on China's past and present. The students found the activity highly meaningful as it seamlessly integrated classroom learning with practical experiences, highlighting that drug control is a universal concern. The students recognized the importance of avoiding drugs, valuing life, and transcending national boundaries.
