On April 20th, Jiangsu University held the opening ceremony of the 14th International Cultural Festival at the library plaza with the theme "Diversity for a Shared Future." The festival attracted thousands of JSU students, staff and various guests as well as over 1,000 overseas students.

Prof. Li Hongbo, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu University Committee mentioned that the International Cultural Festival has become one of the most significant cultural brands of Jiangsu University and the connotation of the education brand of "Study at Jiangsu University" has been continuously enriched. Prof. Li Hongbo appreciated International students for deeply integrating into the construction of a high-level university with distinctive characteristics. He said that excellent stories of international students establishing roots in China and integrating globally have been widely recognized. Prof. Li Hongbo hoped that Chinese and foreign teachers and students could experience the atmosphere of multicultural integration through the International Cultural Festival, promote the value orientation of win-win cooperation and inject strong vitality into the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

During the opening ceremony, other guests also shared their wishes and appreciated JSU's internationalization through speeches.

Prof. Cai Yingfeng, Vice President of Jiangsu University announced the official opening of the 14th International Cultural Festival.

Performances and interactive games were featured by JSU students and staff on the stage. These traditional performances gave an impressive showcase with a vibrant audio-visual experience, celebrating the rich diversity of civilizations from all over the globe.
