On January 10th, the celebration of the fourth Chinese People's Police Day and the opening ceremony of Zhenjiang Anti-Drug Education Base were held at Nanshan Liuyi Hall. Ms. Wang Limin, secretary of OEC CPC branch, Lu Yan, OEC students counselor, and 14 overseas students from countries such as Denmark, Indonesia, Morocco, Pakistan, Ghana, Zimbabwe, etc., were invited to participate.

Mr. Xu Shuhai, the mayor, and Mr. Xu Wen, member of Standing Committee and secretary of Municipal Political and Legal Committee, jointly unveiled the plaque for the Anti-Drug Education Base. Mr. Ma Minglong, municipal party secretary affirmed the achievements made by the Zhenjiang Public Security Bureau in the past year.

OECians visited the Zhenjiang Anti-Drug Education Base after the ceremony. The base is the first in the country to exhibit historical cultural relics related to smoking cessation in folk museums. Taking "text," "documents," "classics," and "culture" as clues, it presents the ideological concepts, humanistic spirit, and moral standards with contemporary value and anti-drug significance in Chinese civilization through the integration of art and technology.

Four main exhibition areas and two special exhibition areas were visited by OECians. Through various interactive activities, comprehensive understanding of drug knowledge, anti-drug history, drug-related cases, and anti-drug achievements were gained by viewers. Real cases with shocking pictures raised the awareness of anti-drug laws and the consequences of violating them.

With the help of modern technology, the exhibition hall allows visitors to have immerse experience in inter-activities: the AR scene "You After Drugs" made students see themselves after taking drugs, exclaiming, "It's really terrifying, drugs are not to be touched!" ; The double-layered art display box and interactive speaker wall led students to unveil the locations prone to drug contamination and expose the tricks used by drug dealers.

The design of the anti-drug base and the use of interactive technology were appreciated by our students, expressing how amazing and insightful this journey was and their gratitude for the police of escorting our happy life.
