On December 26th, a Indonesian family visited Jiangsu University (JSU) to conduct an on-site inspection of the Food Science and Engineering program as well as the overseas education.

Vice President and Professor Zou Xiaobo, dean of the School of Food Science and Engineering, warmly received the family, Professor Wu Peng, dean of Overseas Education College (OEC) also participated in the reception.

Mr. Wu Wenhao, Director of the OEC administrative office, provided a detailed introduction to the development history of Jiangsu University, its facilities, the development of overseas education, the majors available for international students, scholarship policies, student associations of international students, campus life, and university-industry cooperation.

The family visited the the International Cooperative Research Center for Intelligent Agriculture and Physical Processing of Agricultural Products in the School of Food and Biological Engineering, the Non-destructive Detection Integrated Laboratory, and overseas student apartments.

The family highly appreciated the hardware and software facilities of Jiangsu University, as well as the management services for international students, and expressed that they would consider JSU as their first choice of studying in China.
