On May 26th, the OEC CPC Branch and the CPC Committee of the School of Law, Jiangsu University (JSU) jointly held the final competition & presentation of JSU's Chinese and foreign Students Joint Reading Club. Five groups were selected to perform on the competition & presentation. Judges of the competition included Prof. Yang Daojian, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC JSU Committee and Director of Publicity Department, Prof. Pan Jianfeng, Director of the International Office, Associate Prof. Huang Ting, Secretary of OEC CPC Branch, Prof. Gao Jing, Dean of OEC, Mr. Wang Peng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the School of Law, Associate Prof. Sun Yuejuan, Section Chief ofOrganization Department and Dr. Shuai Honglan from the School of Law.

The five groups presented Chinese culture as well as the development achievements and experience of China through various forms such as speech, scene play, and singing, based on extensive reading of the book China in Stories published by School of Law and other literatures and discussion. The first performance Guan & Bao's Friendship reflected the story of the deep friendship between Guan Zhong and Bao Shuya during the Spring and Autumn period in ancient China, expressing the traditional Chinese virtues of selflessness, leniency, sincereness and so on. The second performance Chinese High-speed Railway, Chinese Speed presented the high-speed railway stories between China and Russia, India, Mexico and other countries, conveying the spirit of The Belt and RoadInitiative. Named The Love Story of Long Xianlan, a Poor Farmer of Shibadong Village, the third performance showed the spirit and experience of the CPC in leading the poverty alleviation for Chinese people. The fourth performance A Community with a Shared Future for Mankind delivered the concept, vision, and practice of building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind as well as China's image as a responsible major country by recreating the scenario of classroom interactions. The last group's presentation China-Europe Railway Express narrated the development of China-Europe Railway Express and the fruitful cooperation between China and Bangladesh in various fields such as politics, economy, culture, etc.

In the end, Guan & Bao's Friendship won the first prize, the performances of The Love Story of Long Xianlan, a Poor Farmer of Shibadong Village and A Community with a Shared Future for Mankind won the second prize, and Chinese High-speed Railway, Chinese Speed and China-Europe Railway Express won the third prize.

There were nearly 100 Chinese and foreign student audiences for this event. They said that this competition acted as a wonderful showcase for Chinese stories, Chinese wisdom, and Chinese achievements in a variety of forms and brilliant content, promoted Chinese traditional culture, demonstrated China's great changes and construction achievements of the new era, and provided a very good new form of education for them to understand China and the CPC.
