On March 25th JEWELS organized an innovative and unique activity Chimera - 2 Heads 1 Mind which focused on emphasizing the importance of unity and self-discovery, challenging artists to create a cohesive image that captures these concepts in visual form. The event was open to all JSU students and around 60-80 people participated in the event.

The theme of spring was chosen for this unique event where 2 people draw a single painting while only using one hand each as their other hand is tied to their partner's. Chimera provided an opportunity for artists of all levels to come together and work on their skills in a supportive environment. All the executives collaboratively, did an excellent job of ensuring that the event was well-structured with clear guidelines and plenty of materials available for everyone to use. Throughout the event, experienced members were willing to offer constructive feedback and guidance to those who needed it, creating an atmosphere of growth and mutual learning. All the members of JEWELS worked tirelessly to provide participants with all they might need be it painting supply, snacks, or a brush of laughter.

Each pair was clicked secretly by the association members while they were busy working on their paintings with the motive to provide them with their most enjoyed time as a memento. From sketching still life objects to quickly giving their imaginations a physical form, there were ample opportunities to explore different drawing techniques for the participants. Towards the end of the event, G3 cards were collected, and a group photo was taken with all the participants holding their paintings.

Overall, the event proved to be both educational and enjoyable, providing many valuable experiences to our beloved JSUers.(OEC)
