The “You Only Look Once” event was held online on 5th February 2023 by Association for International Engineering Students of Jiangsu University.

In this event a brief introduction to the YOLO algorithm was given, where it can be used and how important it is; as it is considered the top detection algorithm in many fields.

In the event all about YOLO was explained and its different versions. As a reference, participants were shown a research article that discussed YOLO v7 and its advantages over previous versions. The article also explained why YOLO v7 is preferred for certain applications, and other aspects of the algorithm were discussed in detail. After that participants were shown a demo video on how they can work on YOLO v7. Some examples were also done by running the YOLO v7 on our own in order to show participants the results.
