On the 8th of February, China-Africa Relationship Think Tank (CART) of Overseas Education College held an online Business Seminar via Tencent meeting. The Business Seminar aimed to give insight into useful business-related information that the vast majority might not have known before. The Business Seminar was an effective way to learn about success stories and gain valuable knowledge about strategies and tips related to business under China-Africa Cooperation. Miss Maggie Kong, Deputy Director of International Investment and Trade Commission, the Economic Joint Committee of China Commercial Stock Enterprises and Professor Huang Qifa of School of Management delivered keynote speeches. Secretary of OEC CPC Branch, Associate Professor Huang Ting, guided the event as the Patron of CART.

Miss Maggie Kong gave an insightful presentation on "How to Attract Investors to Your Country". She touched upon types of investment funds and the general and basic structure of working with investors in order to have the right information before approaching investors. Miss Kong ended her presentation by elaborating on how to attract investments depending on different business levels.

Associate Professor Huang Qifa spoke on the topic, "How to Write Winning Business Proposals". He gave an in-depth presentation on what it takes to make a good business proposal. He touched on each section of a business proposal. He also shared with the audience reflective questions to ponder while writing business proposals to ensure that they are not just writing any business proposal but a business proposal with quality.

The business seminar ended with an interactive question and answer session followed by vote of thanks from the Managing Director of CART, Mr Selorm Yao-Say Solomon Adade. We hoped the Business Seminar equipped participants with the requisite tools and comprehension to succeed in their business initiatives and endeavors.
