In order to maintain campus safety, strengthen the education and management of foreign students in China, create a comfortable and tidy accommodation environment, and eliminate hidden dangers in the apartment, on October 14, 2022, Secretary of OEC CPC Branch, Huang Ting, Dean Gao Jing, Vice Deans Su Jianhong, Cai Zhaohui, and Cui Yong led the class teachers, and dorm management personnel led the staff, teachers, and dorm management personnel to conduct a safety inspection of the apartment for foreign students.

his inspection mainly focused on the publicity materials and posters of the overseas students' apartment, as well as the electrical appliance use and sanitation of the dormitory. During the inspection, most of the foreign students' dormitories, especially the female students' dormitories, were clean and tidy, and there was no illegal use of electrical appliances. There was no improper stickboards in the halls, corridors, kitchens, laundries, dormitories and other places. However, some dormitories are found that the use of indoor electrical appliances did not conform to the specifications, and the hygiene was poor. The leader of the team and the instructor explained to foreign students in the problematic dormitories patiently, reminded them of the potential safety hazards and urged them to rectify immediately.

Overseas Education College has always attached great importance to the safety of the dormitories of foreign students, and has carefully implemented the work of maintaining campus safety and stability through the floor leader system, the issuance of safety management regulations and manuals, and the monthly safety inspection of the dormitories of foreign students.
