On October 2, the event named "Health is Wealth" to promote health awareness and the Konsung Cup International Intelligent Medical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Jingjiang Building of Jiangsu university. President Yan Xiaohong attended and delivered a speech. The leaders of International Office, Overseas Education College, School of Medicine, School of Pharmacy and teachers as well as representatives of overseas students participated in the event.

The event also marked the recovery of our student Clayton who was receiving treatment in the hospital. Clayton became seriously ill in late May this year and was admitted to the ICU for treatment in critical condition. The medical insurance could not cover all the treatment costs. University leaders, teachers and students of Overseas Education College, teachers of International Office and School of Pharmacy, Chairman of Jiangsu Konsung Bio-medical and Science Technology Co., Ltd., Red Cross Society of China Zhenjiang Branch and others jointly donated nearly 90,000 yuan to rescue the student from critical illness. At present, the condition is stable and the recovery is good.

Clayton expressed his sincere thanks for the care and contributions from all parties, expressed his deep feelings of the great love of the Chinese people, looked forward to the early recovery of health and continued completion of studies, and actively spread China-Zimbabwe friendship.

Prof. Yan Xiaohong hopes that Clayton will continue his positive attitude, actively cooperate with the treatment and recover as soon as possible. He encouraged all international students to be active and look forward to the future, seize the precious "China opportunities", including this competition, and realize their "small goals" and "big dreams". Prof. Yan Xiaohong pointed out that Jiangsu University not only has outstanding comprehensive school running strength, but also is a paradise full of love for "study in China", providing unlimited possibilities for the growth and success of international students.

The activity showed the award-winning video works of the competition. The representatives of the five award-winning teams made speeches one after another, saying that the competition enabled them to deeply understand the development of China's health and medical industry, and their knowledge level, practical ability and innovation and entrepreneurship awareness were improved. Later, market research will be carried out to combine product characteristics with overseas market demand, propose targeted solutions for bottlenecks encountered in overseas promotion of enterprise products. Gao Jing, Dean of Overseas College, commented on the entries on behalf of the Organizing Committee.
