Description: Lawrence Yoon Suk LEE is a professor at the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong SAR. He started his B.S degree at Korea University, Seoul, Korea, then moved to Canada and completed at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He received his PhD in physical chemistry from McGill University, Canada in 2006. After working as a postdoctoral researcher and research associate at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he started his academic career in 2013. His research interests are on the development of earth-abundant nanomaterials and their hybrid composites for energy conversion and storage. His works mainly focused on the photocatalytic and electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) using various semiconductor-based nanostructures.
