This program aims to cultivate high-level engineering and technical talents with all-round moral, intellectual and physical grounding, as well as reasonable knowledge structure of food quality and safety. It also provides students with the ability to analyze and solve practical engineering problems, and to innovate and engage in scientific research and technology management. Students are expected to be engaged in food quality inspection and control, food safety management and supervision, food production management, health and wellness product development in engineering industries such as food, biology, medicine, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, especially in the field of food quality and safety. In the context of the "Belt and Road", Jiangsu University supports its graduates to be well-rounded citizens who are familiar with China, friendly to China, willing to develop China, and can build the food quality and safety related cooperation between China and other countries.
